Solar grid set

When the solar panels are converted into direct current (DC), this DC current will be transformed into alternating current (AC) by Inverter, after the current has been the same phase and the same frequancy then it will automatically merge into the electrical network.

On the market there are two types of solar grid set, which are:

  • The grid set with storage: is the grid set with an extra battery that attached to the system. When solar panels absorb sunlight and generate energy, this energy is charged into the battery and then blend into the power grid and supply electricity.
  • Non-storage grid set: is the grid set without battery. When solar panels receive energy, this energy is transferred directly to the power grid.

In the process of using solar grid set there will occur three cases:

  • When the solar power generated equal to the power of consumption loads, then loads will consume 100 percent this solar power.
  • When the solar power generated is smaller than the power of consumption loads, then the system will automatically add electricity from the electrical network and provide enough power for the consumption loads.

When the solar power generated is larger than the power of consumption loads, then the excess power will run against the electrical network and will be recorded by a two-way meter. The excess power will be repurchased by the electricity company.


UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is an electrical appliance that can supply power for a period of time corresponding to the design capacity to maintain the operation of electrical equipment when the power grid has problem. In addition, UPS also has a number of functions, such as: voltage stabilizers, automatic frequency stabilizers, and lightning protection.

Sudden electric power outage will influence the operation and the electrical equipment longevity that we are using, if we use UPS, UPS will provide uninterruptible power supply for such electrical equipment.

UPS operates by using an internal built-in batttery, and an instant switching circuit between the external power supply and the battery power, and to keep the power supply for the equipment to continue uninterrupted.

Based on the operational principle, UPS is classified into two main categories: Offline and Online.

  • UPS Offline: provides near-sinusoidal waveform output current, and has a relatively slow switching time (about 10ms), UPS

    Offiline include two types: the standard and the Line Interactive technology. Operation principle of UPS Offline suppoting Line Interactive technology is similar to the standard UPS Offline but it has additional voltage stabilizer to adjust the output voltage for the load is always stable. UPS Offline is often used for small capacity devices and short power storage times, so it cost cheaper than UPS Online.

  • UPS Online: uses online double conversion technology, it provides standard sine waveform output current. UPS Online is more expensive than UPS Offline because it has switching time equal to 0 ms and has longer power storage times. UPS Online is often used in medical devices, such as: testing machines, ultrasound machines, servers, …



The battery is also called Secondary Battery. Secondary battery and battery are power supply that creates and maintains voltage between the two ends of power circuit. But secondary battery is a rechargeable power source that can be reused many times based on reversible chemical reactions, while battery is a power source that can not regenerate energy if it is used up.

Secondary battery is classified according to metal as electrodes, consisting of two types: secondary battery using acid dielectric (common) and secondary battery using alkaline dielectric.

When deciding to use secondary batttery, we should consider the secondary battery’s voltage and capacity parameters. Capacity is the basic parameter that indicates the capacity of storing secondary battery power.

To extend the lifespan of secondary battery, we should be interested in the discharge mode and the charging mode to match and best.


The charger is a device that performs an adjustable charging function gor secondary battery, protects overcharging and overdischarge to improve the lifespan of secondary battery, and to help solar panel system use effective and long lasting. The charger is also called the Solar charger controller, because it indicates the charging status of the solar panels into the secondary battery, it helps iser control the load.

The main task of the charger is:

  • Secondary battery protection: when the secondary battery is fully charged, the controller prevents the power source continuing to load into the secondary battery, which may cause boiling and affect its lifespan. When the secondary battery is nearly empty, the controller will disconnect the secondary battery to prevent the use of load, and to protect the secondary battery.
  • Protection of solar panel: daytime (sunny), solar panel’s voltage is higher than secondary battery’s voltage so the electric current will flow from solar panel to secondary battery, but the night (without

    sunlight), solar panel’s voltage is lower than secondary battery’s voltage so the electric current will flow from secondary battery to solar panel and heat the solar panel, gradually reduce performance of solar panel and possibly damage solar panel Therefore, the charger will prevent electricity flowing into solar panel.

If we don’t use the charger, the solar panel will be fast damaged or reduced performance, and we will have to purchase new secondary battery to replace frequently.

Solar power cable

Solar power cable is used to connect DC current of solar panels to the inverter.

Solar power cable has conductor of many soft tin-coated copper to prevent corrosion, durable using, and ensure the flexibility of the cable during construction as well as during operation.

Solar power cable’s sheath is resistant to UV rays, Ozone, chemicals such as acids, bases, oils, withstand environmental conditions, severe weather (sunlight, rain, pollution, …). The maximum temperature of conductor is up to 1200C and the solar power cable has a design lifespan up to twenty five years.

Solar power cable uses eco-friendly material, unleaded, when burned it emits less smke, not generate toxic gas, and has flam retardant property, auto shut off as well as ensuring highest safety for the construction.

Aluminum rail rod

Aluminum rail rod is used to connect solar panels, which is used for roof tiles or corrugated iron. Aluminum rail rod made from industrial aluminum so it has very ihgh durability, good corronsion resistance, withstand wind and impact force, the usual warranty period is twelve years.

The thermal expansion of the aluminum rail rod is very low, so solar panels are not clamped too tight, not deform the frame and not break the glass of solar panels.

Due to being mass-produced, aluminum rail rod is chep and uniform size, so using aluminum rail rod will help you save installation labor, reduce construction time and reduce the cost of solar power system.

End-Clamp Solar

End-Clamp solar is also known as the external clamp, a equipment is used to fix the edge of solar panels on iron frame, bracket, or aluminum rail rod.

End-Clamp solar is made from cast aluminum, durable, long lifespan, resistant to oxidation and corrosion, which is one of the necessary accessories in installing solar power system.

Mid-Clamp Solar

Mid-Clamp solar is also known as the middle clamp, an indispensable equipment in installing solar power system. As End-Clamp solar, Mid-Clamp solar holds a fixed two solar panels on the aluminum rail rod or rack safely and firmly.

L Foot Kit
